Overview


 The system allows users to deactivate and delete certain payment methods. This article explains how to do it.

How to Delete a Payment Method

Information

  • When a payment method is already associated to a customer, the system will restrict users from deleting it.
  • If the Clearent Integration is enabled, users will not be able to delete Credit Card (In-App) or Credit Card (POS Terminal) payment methods. The only option available will be "Edit" and deactivate them.


 Go to Setup>>Settings.

 Click on Payment Methods, under Accounts Receivables settings.

 Search for the payment method you want to delete, go to the actions column and click on Delete.

 A confirmation message will appear, click on Yes to finish.

How to Deactivate a Payment Method

 Go to Setup>>Settings.

 Click on Payment Methods, under Accounts Receivables settings.

 Search for the payment method you want to deactivate, go to the actions column and click on Edit.

 Remove the check from the Active box and click on Save. The payment method will be deactivated.
